Terra M. Larson
Terra M. Larson is a graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Law. Ms. Larson received her Juris Doctor with Sterling Honors in 2016. While attending law school, Ms. Larson was active in the South Dakota Law Review and has the honor of being Symposium Editor for Volume 61. Her comment on the taxation structure for conservation easement land was published in South Dakota Law Review Volume 60. During graduation ceremonies, Ms. Larson received the George S. Mickelson Award, in recognition of her public service and leadership.
Ms. Larson is originally from Miles City, Montana and graduated high school in 2003. Ms. Larson received her BS degree in journalism, with minors in business and political science from South Dakota State University in 2007. She worked for several years in regulatory affairs for a Brookings, South Dakota-based company prior to attending law school in 2013. During her time working in regulatory affairs, Ms. Larson worked with over 400 government entities throughout the U.S and Canada on implementing laws and regulations pertaining to business signage and billboards.
After sitting for the bar, Ms. Larson joined May, Adam, Gerdes & Thompson in September of 2016. She is admitted to practice law in the State of South Dakota. Ms. Larson is pursuing a general practice.
