Cody Honeywell

Cody Honeywell is a partner at May, Adam, Gerdes & Thompson LLP since 2020.

Cody has experience assisting clients with a wide variety of legal matters. He has represented clients in almost every aspect of the law at one time or another and hopes to continue a diversified practice. Currently, Cody mainly revolves his practice around administrative law, civil litigation, criminal defense, and municipal law.

Cody was born and raised in Pierre. Prior to law school, he attended and graduated from T.F. Riggs High School. He then went on to attend South Dakota State University; he attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minnesota where he received his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, in 2020. During law school, he worked for the Minnesota House Research Department where he supported and assisted legislative analysts on various issues arising during the state legislature process

When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hunting, fishing, and generally spending time outdoors.
